Q interactive Testing Ipad Information

Step 1: Set Up the Test on the Computer

  1. Go to us.qiactive.com/choose-share/home on your computer.
  2. Create your test, then send it to the iPad when you are ready.

Step 2: Log In on Both iPads

  1. On both iPads (yours and the student's), choose Sign in with Pearson and log in.
  2. When the verification screen pops up, tap Trust this device or Remember Me. Doing this saves time so you don't have to verify each time you log in, if you use the same 2 iPads..
  3. If prompted, create an offline login (using the same password as your Pearson login makes it easy to remember).
  4. If option is given, sign in using that offline option on both iPads.

Step 3: Turn Off Wi-Fi Before Testing

  1. Wait until the student iPad shows a blank white screen or the connection notification, then turn off Wi-Fi on both iPads:
  2. Swipe down from the top-right corner of each iPad screen.
    • Tap the Wi-Fi icon so it turns gray.
    • Leave Bluetooth turned ON.
  3. Turning off Wi-Fi should stop the iPads from dropping their connection while you are testing.

Step 4: Turn Wi-Fi Back On After Testing

  1. Once testing is completely finished, turn Wi-Fi back on for both iPads.
  2. Your iPad needs Wi-Fi to save and sync the test results back to Q-interactive Central.
  3. Even though the student iPad doesn't save personal data or final scores, make sure to reconnect both iPads so they are ready for the next person.
